Sydney Crosby: charcoal

A few weeks away from the beginning of the new hockey season, I thought I would portrait a famous Canadian player and it did not take me long before deciding to go with Sidney Crosby. As usual, I searched a photo on Google images and did a free interpretation with charcoal. I must say that I had to choose between  several photos with his shirt off in the locker room and this one. I found the reflections on the helmet visor and the intensity in the eyes particularly interesting. Please let me know what you think in the comments below…
