Responsible Reward – PeopleNet

Project objective: To create for PeopleNet Ltd a 2-minute video in English presenting what offering responsible reward to employees means for a business as well a 5-step method called EARTH to help implement it.

Video making process: The original script was written by Corinne Carr, Founder of PeopleNet Ltd. I provided some feedback in order to optimize the script for the purpose of a hand-drawn video. Once the script was finalized, I started sketching the drawings illustrating the video. I used the colours of the PeopleNet branding to make the video fit well within the website. I packaged all the drawings in a storyboard to help Corinne Carr understand how the video would run once drawings are animated and synchronized with the voice-over. After a couple of rounds of valuable feedback from Corinne, I changed a few drawings and we finalized the storyboard. While Corinne Carr was recording the voice-over herself, I drew all the illustrations from scratch again recording my screen as a video using a screen recording software (see inside the creation of my videos for more details) to create the footage. Finally, I edited the final video with Final Cut Pro X synchronizing voice-over with drawing footage and adding some background music. The final HD (2K) video was delivered in a .mov format optimized to be uploaded online.
