Project objective: To create for Eviosys a 5-minute video in English for employees explaining what sustainable development is about and what it means for Eviosys to create smart sustainable packaging. The video should introduce the basics of sustainability, the root causes of un-sustainability as well as Eviosys’ main challenges and how they are addressing them.
Video making process: I wrote the original script based on a brief from EHS & Sustainability Director Laurent Leucio (see testimonial here). Once the script was finalized, I started sketching the drawings illustrating the video. I used the Eviosys yellow as a colour accent to match the branding. I packaged all the drawings in a storyboard showing how the video would run once drawings are animated and synchronized with the voice-over. Thanks to valuable feedback from Eviosys, I changed a few drawings to have the best possible illustrations given the objectives of the project. Once the storyboard was approved, I drew all the illustrations from scratch again recording my screen as a video using the screen recording software Capto and edited the final video with Final Cut Pro X using the voice-over recorded by professional voice talent Vincent Tong. The final HD (1080p) video was delivered in a format optimized for online upload. See inside the creation of my videos for more details on the process.
Translations: This video was translated into 11 additional languages. I did the translation and voice-over recording for the French version. I edited all the others using the translated texts, subtitles and audio files provided by Eviosys: Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic, Greek, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, Thai and Turkish.
More about the environment at Eviosys: Eviosys provides smart sustainable packaging that enhances the appeal of their customers’ brands in everyday life. They have 45 plants in 18 countries and more than 6,300 employees worldwide.
