Project objective: To create for In Vivo Group a 2-minute whiteboard animation presenting the Quest Euro Tour project and inviting people to register for the online closing ceremony.
Creative process: Serge Moulin, manager of audiovisual communication for In Vivo Events, wrote the original script for the video. Once the script finalized, I sketched all the drawings illustrating the story and delivered them all in a storyboard explaining how they would appear with the voice-over. After review and a few modifications, the illustrations were approved. I then drew them all from scratch again while recording my screen to create the video footage (see the video explaining how I create my whiteboard animations for more details). Finally, I edited the video with Final Cut Pro X, synchronized drawings and voice-over, added animations and motion graphics (with Motion 5) and added sound effects throughout the video. In Vivo Events did the final tuning for the sound design and added background music at the end.
More about Quest Euro Tour 2021: Created in 2017, InVivo Quest is an open challenge to agri-food startups whose stake is twofold: it is about identifying startups that will help accelerate the transition of the agrifood sector and on the other hand to build an international ecosystem of AgriFood innovation. InVivo Quest has chosen to focus its sourcing on Europe, which presents an incredible technological landscape. To segment Europe, 7 areas of interest with different areas of expertise have been identified. From agronomy, to life sciences, to indoor cultivation in the Netherlands, agroforestry in Nothern Europe, data analysis software in Eastern Europe, to IoT and equipment for Central Europe, the Old Continent combines an abundant variety of skills.
