Project objective: To create for Logitech a 2-minute whiteboard video explaining the challenge of electronic waste production worldwide and the importance of recycling electronics, batteries, packaging, etc.
Production process: Logitech wrote the original script on electronic waste and created a mockup video for reference and to help with production. Once the script was finalized, I sketched the illustrations and packaged them all in a storyboard explaining how visuals will appear with the voice-over. After a couple of rounds of feedback, we changed a few drawings and the storyboard was approved. I then drew everything again from scratch while recording my screen in video (see inside the creation of my videos for more details) to create the video footage. Finally, I accelerated the drawings, synchronized them with the voice-over and edited the final video with a background music (provided by Logitech) using Final Cut Pro X.
