A few weeks away from the beginning of the new hockey season, I thought I would portrait a famous Canadian player and it did not take me long before deciding to go with Sidney Crosby. As usual, I searched a photo on Google images and did a free interpretation with charcoal. I must say that I had to choose between several photos with his shirt off in the locker room and this one. I found the reflections on the helmet visor and the intensity in the eyes particularly interesting. Please let me know what you think in the comments below…
Brilliant as usual Alex. Beautiful work! ~Saralyn
