Inktense – Practice

A few weeks ago, I bought a box of 12 InkTense pencils by Derwent. These colour pencils can be used as such but if you add water with a brush, they become ink and offer very intense colours. Once dry, they are permanent so you can add layers, unlike watercolour. In order to get used to them and practice gradients, I created these little characters. The black pencil can also be used like usual black ink for an interesting result on a simple silhouette. Please let me know what you think in the comments below…
