Project objective: to design an iconic brand identity for the golf club reflects the history and tradition of the chateau where it is located as well as the notions of club, team, friendliness and competition.
Two of the proposed concepts are shared below. The one Raray Golf Club decided to keep uses a golfer in the negative space of the R of “Raray” with a very strong iconic identity that people will immediately recognize after they have seen it once. The second one is more of a shield using a circle to convey the idea of a group or team of people working together. In the center is the stag, symbol of the chateau, connecting the club to its land. The samples below helped the client see how the logo could appear in context.
